April Empties tried tested and reviewed !!

 

 

Heya,

I am surprised how time is flying..more than a quarters gone already..I have been traveling so much..plus once back there is zero inclination to post. However this is one post I am always excited about to share.

There isn’t a lot I have been emptying due to travel and constant use of different products in the travel bag. But there is still a bit to share.

Heres what i got done with:

1. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate : Oh my god ..this one lasted me a whole year..assuming I travelled 3 months..I used it for 9 whole months. Paraben free and with lavender i was keen to buy this after reading so many reviews. My skin loved it..and I loved how dewy my skin felt once up in the morning..having said that i did not find any long-term effects at all. Sleeping packs and masks are very much doing that for me..besides i have a list of elixir oils i have been waiting to try. But for those who are still wanting to add oil to their regimen..i think is the one to be jumped at..and however pricey remember little goes a very very very long way 🙂

2.Caolion mool pool deep cleansing 75ml: Although kind of weird, this no oil ,water-soluble cleanser was to be applied on dry skin with dry hand. Cleansed effectively without breaking me out. Although mild I was not very fond of the smell. And definitely good but not great enough for a repurchase.

3.Brocato Curl Interrupted Soothing and Hydrating Shampoo 61.5ml : I have sworn to use up all products I can unless they are horrendous for me in any way. This is one of those meh ones..a local beauty box item..I pretty much liked and used up the conditioner from this line,but the shampoo dint do a nice thing except oil my generally dry scalp!!

 

4.St.Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer : This was huge for a facial moisturizer to begin with. I received this as a gift and inspite of having good reviews I did not attempt it on my oil combination skin. But I loved the texture so much that I used it up as a body lotion. Not runny nor thick it was on my work desk for quick moisture needs. I don’t know abt the face and wrinkles ( don’t see them yet) but it works absolutely amazing for the body!!

5.CNP Laboratory Tone-up Sun Protection SPF+42 : wow!! absolutely loved this. In spite of being tinted easily blended into my skin. With +spf 42 its unbelievable how non oily this and smooth it felt on the skin, with zero white/grey cast. Immediate Repurchase!!

6.Skin79 Super BB with SPF 50 : With this one I have officially given up my search for the right bb/foundation/cushion shade for my skin tone except Misha Perfect Cover BB amongst all the Korean Brands. This was really more orange than the bricky Nuxe Teint Eclat Prodigieux Moisturizing tinted cream in 03 Tanned Glow.

 

 

7.Boh Moist Youth Ampoule Essence : Another Memebox find, It gave a whiff of strange coconut water kind smell. Was great to carry for travels..nicely moisturized without making me oily. But to repurchase ..no ..Memebox has left to a drawer full of Ampoule/essences yet to try out.

8.Miguhara B.P Cream Oil Free Primer : The best primers that I have used in a while. Stays true to its description of being a quality oil-free primer with porous powders that provide light and silky feelings on the skin. I could go on without a foundation with this, although tinted and lighter than my skin tone , blended amazingly well. Have another tube to finish..and yes then I m jumping to a full size!!

9.Skin Food Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Toner and Emulsion:While I really loved the toner, in contrast to reading that is was strong for sensitive skin it surprising worked well with my skin. Smelt of green Apple and certainly helped in keeping me oil free. I m generally not a fan of emulsions..but i used this up.

 

 

 

10.Sallys Box Collagen Eye patch : These were thick and kept sliding off..i don’t know if one time patches make a difference..but there are many better ones to use out there and i prefer masks that cover the whole eye any day !

11.Glamglow Brightmud Eye  Treatment : I got 2 uses out of this one..Although I was really excited to get my hands on this one..and yes the effects of tightening and smoothing are really there with in 3 minutes of use..its like a temporary solution loaded with caffeine and filmformers. So i shall restrict my use to occasionally using it before make-up for some aha moment.

13. Kokostar Kooost Just Like Baby Foot Peeling 

While I used one , My MIL used one..we both have regular dry feet with not really cracked heels and both were to be kept for 90 minutes (pain).In comparison the Foot Therapy started peeling much later than the Kooost one which peeled early and peeled a lot. While both got annoying to keep after an hour or so, the result for both at the end of the week is almost the same, happy new baby feet!!

14.Esthetic House Collagen Jelly Pack 

15. Memebox Intensive Moisturizing Hydrogel

Masks are a staple and how I wish I stick to using one at least week.While i am ok to use all masks..the mememask fits amazing well and works better as it’s a hydrogel.

 

 

16.Hollika Hollika Gonyak Jelly in Cleansing foam: Worked well without drying, I used is as a one step cleanser while awaiting a change of flight..and it did remove mascara too!!

17.TonyMoly Florida Brightening Peeling Gel : My second sachet and is becoming my favorite. Works great for my somewhat sensitive skin, and the best after the Bhaviphat Peach Peeling Scrub I have used. Full size will be considered.

18.Tonymoly Aquaporin Moisture Cream : Nice and Light worked well for an overnight trip..

19.LJH Tea Trea Essence : I hate sachets, but this arrived with the full size…cant let a drop of this serum go waste …a forever and ever buy!!

20.Nature Republic Collagen BB cream with SPF 25 PA+++ : Although light for my skin tone..I used it up on a 2 day trip using a darker toned pressing powder. Was light and surprising non oily.

 

21.White Konjac Sponge : I love these more than my Foreo Luna, ever since i have been using these regularly my breakouts are minimum and my skin tone has bettered drastically..

22. Happy Fam Deo Fresh wipes : Originally for the face..i used them up for hands and underarms for a sweaty day at field..extremely mild and gentle with a  powdery soft smell,,would love to get my hands on these.

Phew..that was a long one.

Unboxing my LoveLula Beauty Box April

Its been a while I posted.. After Memebox not shipping International anymore and Lip factory closing doors,I have been on a prowl for boxes that ship internationally.

I am closely watching LookFantastic as the last 2 boxes have been just about ok, and I am glad I skipped them, I do not want vitamins and mouth washes in boxes which I pay through the nose for shipping and custom duties at times.

I was regularly buying online from Lovelula and it was the right time to indulge in the box, specially for all natural skin care.

Heres what I got

 

1. Madara Balancing Toner  200ml: I was pretty sad to see a full size item to be a toner!! From the description it works to control oily zones while soothing dry areas, contains Northern Rasberry that tones and conditions skin leaving it soft and refreshed.

I have recently got back to toners again, thanks to korean ones.However I have tried a few samples from Madara, so maybe I will attempt this or will go straight to my mom.

2.Figs and Rouge 80ml : Although I am not a big Vanilla fan,I must say this one smells amazing. I love anything coco butter and though I am not a big fan of their lip balm this will be happy used up by my hands. I love the packaging and it works on nails and cuticles as well!!

3.Ren Flash Rinse (1 minute facial ) 15ml : This is like law of attraction..I have been waiting to get my hands on this one. This rinse mask instantly revitalises skin with potent,water activated Vitamin C leaves skin firm,toned and glowing.

My only apprehension is a little at time sensitive skin..so its a good way to receive it and try whether it works for me or not !!

4.HerbFarmacy Selection Pots : While the size is not exciting…I am happy to receive 5 samples from the same range..I probably would get 2-3 uses out of each.

Exfoliating Cleanser :“A beautiful and gentle exfoliator with marshmallow and apricot kernel oils, jojoba beads and white clay.” Is gentle enough to be used every other day for oil prone skin.

Wash-off  Cleansing Mousse :“A deep organic cleansing mousse containing soothing organic Chamomile and Marshmallow and essential oils of Rose Geranium and Ylang Ylang. This wonderful cleanser is effective even when removing face and eye make-up and leaves the skin beautifully refreshed.”

Just Face Cream:“It is a deeply moisturising and replenishing cream with organic Marshmallow, Calendula and Ginkgo herbal extracts combined with and a symphony of regenerating plant oils.” Can be used in the day as well as night, and works great for wrinkles!!

Working Hands Cream : Containing Essential Oils –Grapefruit, Sweet Orange, Mandarin and Bergamot this hand cream made with Canlendula and avocado , can’t wait to use this up!!

Beauty Balm : I couldn’t find the details of this product, but it smells absolutely amazing!! I love having a multipurpose balm around and this goes directly in my Handbag!!

The box also came with a coupon with 20% off all brands in the box which sadly I doubt I would be able to use as the boxes take 2-3 weeks to reach me.

Back with the favorites post..empties..its something i love writing and reading about the most!!

So without further ado…here is goes…

There isn’t a lot of full-sized products like January..as a lot of bigger bottles are awaiting exhaustion!!

 

1.Loreal Gentle Lip and Eye Make-up remover : So much better and gentler than the Maybelline Total Clean..however I think I totally love the Clinique Take the Day off make up remover that i am back to it..but the price 😦

2.Elin Bianco Treatment Mask: I love love love this one…I reviewed it here…cant wait to get my hands on it.

3.The Body Shop Rainforest Shine Shampoo for normal to dry hair :This is my favorite go to shampoo. I have to oil my hair before washing as i literally grow dry grass on my head. For no oil days this one cleans without over drying. I love how it smells and with no silicones, no sulphates, no parabens and no colorants there is nothing to not love about it. Immediate Repurchase!!

 

 

4.Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack :I got some 4-5 uses and the last 2 were just to get rid of it…I can’t say I even liked it..it was thicker than a normal sleeping back and a little difficult to spread around the face..and nope..no desired sleeping pack results in the morning. did nothing..purchase again?  Is it-free??

5.Dewytree Ginseng Black Mask: I love sheets masks…and I have raved about these in most empties..I love how well it moisturizes and how amazing and glowy my skin feels in the morning. Will stock them until eternity!!

6.Esthetic House Collagen Jelly Pack : Supposedly to energize and hydrate…I like how my skin felt after using this..I have 3 more to go yet!!

7.Ettang Modeling Take-out cup Pack Propolis : It was my first take-out cup Pack supposedly for troubled skin,which I do suffer from occasionally. Felt nice and calm but wish to try some more..will haul some more just out of curiosity .

8.PureDerm Kiwi Yogurt Pack :Another Memebox item this pack claims to soften, refresh and increase the elasticity of the skin and brightening it. I found the scrub gentle inspite of the particles, my skin felt soft and refreshed but I did not seem to find any long-term effects.Well there are 14 more left !!

9.Etude House Scrub Massage Cream Pomegranate : “This moist textured wash-off pack gently scrubs the skin with its massaging peeling particles and brightens up dull complexion with its pomegranate extract”

I got 3 uses out of this one….what i really like that the scrub is gentle yet effective and left my skin really soft. But long-term effects ..nahh!

 

 

10.Panda Eye Essence Mask : My last of the three I had…and this time I kept it longer than earlier times. I was absolutely amazed at how clear my under eye felt after the use. It’s just gave a lift to my otherwise always tired looking eyes and for the dark circles I honestly don’t expect much from single use masks…yes i m gonna repurchase more!!

11.De Ganesh Eye Mask : By now my most repeated of empties..this mask covers the whole eye..is drenched in serum and absolutely works in relaxing my eyes…I want more..guess a due trip to china I should find these again.

12.The History of Whoo Eye Cream : I use these regularly on my trips and inspire of being thick in texture it blends easily without leaving any sheen.Works on Dark circles?? no idea…yeh my dark circles are that bad!!

13.Luke Charcoal Nose Cleansing Pack : I really do not have issues with black heads on the nose…although I do have a few white heads!! I never used one strip before and being over loaded with various kinds in Memeboxes and inspite of generously passing them out I have a carton left. Hence i decided to use this one!! and lo and behold…my nose actually felt clean and glowy!! I accidentally left it overnight on the glass shelf instead of binning it after use and i had to literally scrub the glass off to remove this !!

I wouldn’t be purchasing this one..but i am game using nose masks occasionally now!!

14.Shara Shara Baby Foot Hydration Mask :Again something I keep using often..I love how soft my feet feel after leaving it overnight for a good couple of days…trust me I have an oily face but the most drying feet ever. Have hoarded these already!!

15.Laneige Water Sleeping Mask: I am used to carrying Sachets now on short trips..rather than carrying tubes and bottles. So it one gives a good 2-3 uses. this aint my as favorite as the TonyMoly Dual Intense sleeping pack..but works just fine!!

I have started securing sachets ones open with bob pins on either side after pressing whatever left inside down the sachet.. and store them upright in makeup pouches ..trust me it works.

16.LHJ Tea Tree Essence : I loved emptying a whole bottle of this and called for more..with it came these samples sachets..The tea tree essence is something that my skin loves so I can’t afford missing out on these sachets at all.I am absolutely certain this essence is responsible for me having no break outs for the longest time ever!! Have 2 bottles lined up for use!!

17.Nuxe Teint Eclat Prodigieux Moisturizing tinted cream in 03 Tanned Glow: I seriously though this would work great for my mocha/wheatish complexion..as the shade was much similar to Tea Trea Flawless BB Cream 03 which works like a dream for me as a base although a shade darker. But this was rather runny and too bricky a tone for my liking. Nope..dint work!! I love Nuxe and with so many active ingredients i want to try out maybe the O2 Golden Radiance.

 

 

 

18.CNK Special Day C Focus Essence : This came with active Vitamin C powder to be mixed with liquid essence and shaken throughly before use. The prospect of vitamin C really excites me!! However my excitement to use this went downslide as even a drop made my skin extremely oily,although i dint experience breakouts..to be used within 7 days and as cudnt liberally had to do away with 80% of the bottle. I guess would work brilliant on dry skin!!

19.Befine Food Skincare Lip Serum : With Chamomile and beets I loved how glossy and smooth it made the lips without being sticky. Loved to use it no lipstick/gloss days. I am glad I have another tube to use up!!

20.ChapStick Every day Lip care : I loved this one more than the Night care version of this with Aloe Vera. Smooth matte with a faint smell of vanilla and spf 15 I loved using this as a base before applying lipsticks.. but repurchase not certain..I have more lip balms than I can finish in this lifetime.

21.Hollika Hollika Magic Pole Mascara : I love the wand!! Doesn’t do too much for volume…but separates lashes and is natural looking without clumping..and works well for eye corners. For someone like me who is just a not a full foundation-liner-mascara person everyday..this works great for a natural look!!

22.Max Factor Eye Brightening Tonal Black Volumising Mascara : Reached me half-dried already..and what volume are u talking about really!! binned and banned!!

23.Likke Detox Scalp Care Gel: This tiny tube is supposedly a full size product . I was stingy at the first time of use to not finish in one go..felt cool and nice on the hair while massaging..but i am not sure abt the anti-virus..anti-acne and the detox claims. I wish there was more…with thick hair you don’t really know if your scalp got enough.

SoSusan LipLove Subscription Bag February

LipLove is a newly launched subscription from SOSUSAN. They earlier had the LaquerLove subscription which wouldn’t ship internationally. So i was thrilled when they started this subscription ..ofcourse i had to sign up immediately.

Cheek Jelly Lip and Cheek Stain : Wow i just love this Lipstain. I don’t know how it works for the cheeks but for the lips its just awesome. I loved how it felt on the lips..and its my favorite shade!!

Lip dome in “Melon” : Wow finally i received something neutral after receiving reds and pinks from all boxes. I love the color and it contains gojiberry mangosteen and hyaluronic acid so whats not to love..

Super Model Stain by Jelly Pong Pong : Wow its so mini and so cute. All the colors don’t go for me and would double up as cheek stains but i am really excited to receive this!!

Concealer Quad (bonus) : I read quad while subscribing, I read quad on the spoilers and I read quad on the detail card too..and i get a single concealer way too light for my mocha skin tone.

Not done…!! Apparently they ran out and I was someone who subscribed on 10th Jan ..is that a date for the February bag to miss out on the number of subscribers a month and half in advance ? 😦

I am happy with everything except the missing concealer quad and excited to receive make-up as i am way too over loaded with skin care and with LipFactory closing doors I am glad this one opened up 🙂

February 2015 empties,tried and tested!!

This this my favoritest post..to read about as well as write about.

There is something very exciting about finishing up a product good as well as bad..in my recent attempt i have been religiously categorizing stuff as per expiry and also making sure I use up everything I have unless it is too blah or absolutely damaging to my skin.

Here’s what I finished in February:

1.Simple Kind to skin exfoliating Body wash 250ml : Perfect for sensitive skin this came with loofah like particles as opposed to sugar or salt..I loved how gentle this was to use twice a week,not as luxurious as Soap and Glory Flake Away but absolutely clean,no smell and leaves your skin baby soft..Absolutely will repurchase again.

2.Cowshed Grumpy Cow Body lotion 250ml : I wanted to try the Cowshed range since long,hence I zeroed in on this body lotion.“Grumpy Cow Uplifting Body Lotion is a citrus blend that leaves you feeling energised with essential oils of red mandarin, petitgrain and grapefruit. Red mandarin invigorates the senses whilst petitgrain purifies the mind.”

I loved the lotion,but it took a while to sink in,I am not sure about the uplifting qualities of the lotion..but the smell was nice and calming. My only complain is with the packaging..the bottle plastic is thick and so is the lotion. Hence squeezing out from the nozzle is a problem.I used it up taking the whole lid off and hence ended up with more than necessary because of the big mouth opening. Repurchase from the same brand yes..but another variant.

3.Charles Worthington Strength and Repair Longer and Stronger Hair Mask 160ml : I absolutely love this!!I just love how it smells and how once dry ,you find a noticeable difference in the softness of your hair. Easy to do in a shower with no time on hand this one is my deep favorite. Got 5-6 uses out of this one and for the price its an absolute winner!Waiting to indulge in more!!

4.Paco Rabanne Lady Million: I adore the bottle and the fragrance,with top notes of neroli,bitter orange,raspberry and base notes of honey and Patchouli I absolutely adore this for the day as I am not too much of a floral scent person.

 

 

 

5.Memebox Meme Mask Intensive Moisturizing Hydrogel:

“Enhance radiance, alleviate irritation, effectively illuminate, and create firm, resilient skin.  We bring you our very own Mememask Hydrogel Mask formulated with only the best ingredients such as, Baobab Tree Seed Extract, Chamomile, Niacinamide and Adenosine, and Polyglutamic Acid, leaving your skin radiant and hydrated. “

I have picked them up by dozens before Memebox stopped shipping internationally. I must say the mask fit really well and aptly as opposed to paper masks.I don’t know the long-term benefits but my skin felt immediately plump and brighter. Super wow!!

Finishing 3 masks with so much of travel was a feat and I m happy I m sticking to routine

 

 

8. Brilliant’s Love Heart Sparkling Powder : I love dunking my head into this bubbling mix of water.. My face feels squeaky clean but feel a bit tight and dry. Have  a few left to finish up.

9.Crysence Crystal Recovery Marine Shampoo and Power Treatment : This is the first time a Korean hair product has worked for me. While the shampoo was nothing to be raving about , I loved how my hair felt after the conditioning treatment. It made the hair smooth shiny and each strand stood separated.

10.TonyMoly Brightening Peeling Gel : This one is more runny than usual gels. I loved how gentle it was and my face felt apparently cleaner and softer but a bit dry later. I have one more to use up and see how it compares with other gels I use.

11.Skin Food Royal Honey Nutrition Cream : I just got 2 uses out of this nor I have wrinkles to see if it works. However it worked as a good moisturizer got easily absorbed and was non oily.

Unboxing my Memebox # Daily Must-Wears

Just when they decided to discontinue International shipping, boxes just got delivered at high-speed at my door step. I over indulged in January only to take feel convinced that there might be no boxes so I shall make hay while sun shines!!

So here’s the Daily Must-Wears along with my Baby Soft Skin Box ,I wasn’t quiet sure about this box but bought it anyway for express combined shipping.

Was I glad when I opened up? Surprising yes!!

Heres a quick look at what I got.

 

1.Lailly 7 Seconds Make-up Booster 50g : I received this in one of the Memeboxes and looking at this one I decided to test the unopened one lying with me.Its a light bluish-green cream to be used at the last stage of skin-care. My skin loved it a couple of days,it spreads easily and settles in immediately leaving a soft velvety surveys ,but on days when my skin acted up this added to the oil secretion I guess..I need more run-time to decide I keep the second one or part with in.

2.Touch Couture Perfect Dual Kit 6.5g : For the first time in history of me ordering Memeboxes I recvd an Eye brow product ..yes I missed the All About Brows Box. I love anything pink so the lip tint will be used but I am really excited with this dual ended eyebrow with it. A good and handy keeper.

3.Esthetic House Collagen Jelly Pack Mask Sheet 20ml*5 : In Korea Masks are for every day moisture boost hence I believe it appears in the Daily Must Wears Box. This gel mask is supposed to brighten dull complexions,improve elasticity and restore balance. I am game for all masks so this one happily goes to my stash of masks

4.La Bellona Camellia Oleifera Oil Clinic 50g : Enriched with Camellia Flower and hydrolyzed collagen this adds a protective layer on dry damaged hair (Like Mine!!)to minimize brittleness and increase resistance to breakage. This can be used as a daily conditioner as well as a treatment mask. My only hitch with most treatment masks is you need clean dry hair to use them and need to wash your hair again..I am an alternate day hair wash person and its very difficult for me to stick to treatments for my laziness for pre and post hair in a couple of hours time again!!

Though Korean Hair Products never (never!!) work for me..I will give this one a try as it mentions oil and I don’t smell Mentholy stuff!!

5.Double Ton-up Whitening Cream 50ml :I received this one from the option of Bidan Cream and Gleam Moisture Cream. I wish I had lucked out on the Bidan cream which contains Hosehip oil that my skin loves 😦

I have learned to understand that Whitening creams in Korea simply mean toning up creams!! Formulated with shea butter, soothing and clarifying damask rose extracts and natural ingredients it evens out skin tone,rexturizes (??) and prevents signs of aging.

Lately most Korean creams except the Benton Snail High Content Steam cream have been misses for me..so i am willing to try this one. Plus i like how cute the packaging and bottle is!!

Ah and then there is also a shower cap out of no where!!

So this box has a fairly good value for the prize and most items will be used..so I can say it’s not bad at all!!

 

Hair Face Body Care Haul Part 2 : BODY

 

 

heya,

I wrote about  my huge Hair Haul Part 1 ages ago…I am yet to believe the amount of stuff I have hauled from UK as practically 85% of the stuff remains untouched!! Thanks to some Subscription boxes and past hauls I deeply realize how a 2-3 month ban is a must!!

I am pretty much in between experimenting and sticking to good old stuff, since my urge to go beyond my comfort zone is being tested by Memeboxes (snails slime, pigs collagen and spiders whatever) I fairly stuck to my good old basic drugstore items here.

Heres what i got..

 

1. Soap and Glory Flake Away Scrub in Travel size: I have used this ever since I started using scrubs. Enriched with shea butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt and sugar I love how gentle yet effective it is for sensitive skin. I love this more in comparison to Scrub’em & Leave ’em which is more milder and like a mix between a scrub and a polish.I have a full size and picked this up so I am armed in my travels.

2.Soap and glory:The Daily Smooth Body Butter : I just wish they got Paraben and Sulfate free…i just can’t resist buying their products.Containing rosehip seed oil and cocoa butter,moisturizes and leaves skin gorgeously scented with Mist You Madly fragrance.I am not a fan of strong smells but this one works perfectly for me.

I just wish they dint change the packaging and changed the harmful ingredient list instead.

3.Soap and Glory :You Decide Hand Food :I absolutely love how non greasy it is..something that I prefer during the day. Melts easily like a body lotion and keeps hands soft for a long time..not exceptionally long though but I frequently wash my hands so I feel the need to use it all the more often..I picked this up only to realize I have an unopened one already!!

 

 

 

4.Sanctuary Spa Moisture Rich Foot Butter 50ml: I was until early last year never got to using any of Sanctuary Spa products, and I wonder why!! I can safely say this is better than Soap and Glory Heel Genuis without a hitch.You wake up to absolutely moisturized and silky soft feet the next day morning and the effect does stay long. I don’t know how it would work on hard heels as I have no issues with them.

5.Sanctuary Spa Cleansing Burst Body Wash : An aromatic cleanser infused with essential oils & bursting with moisturizing capsules for silky feeling skin, I just picked for how the beads looked in the bottle. Going by the reviews I am excited to try this soon.

6.Sanctuary Spa Body Moisture Spray 50ml :I have a full size version of this and absolutely love the whole idea of spraying a moisturizer on your skin. I love using it before I am planning to out as it gives this slight sheen along with a moisture surge. It’s quickly absorbing and feels like light oil that penetrates quickly..super like!!

7.Sanctuary Spa Body Scrub travel size : Scrubs,lotions and body showers are some products I can’t resist in picking up travel sizes. This one contains Natural pumice grains, soothing orange oil and patchouli and can be used everyday.

8.Sanctuary Spa Body Butter 150ml : I bought this over a friends recommendation. I plan to use this in concert with the Cleansing Burst body shower and I am sure the results will be amazing. Cant wait to try after I m done using up whats opened!!

 

 

9.CO.Bigelow Coconut Body Cleanser 295ml : The refreshing Coconut Body Cleanser is fragranced with a sumptuous blend of toasted coconut and creamy coconut milk. The lather-rich formula is infused with soothing aloe vera and hydrating sodium PCA, a naturally occurring humectant that draws moisture to the skin. This is my first from them and I couldn’t resist coconut.

10.Aveeno Body Wash for sensitive skin 500ml:I love Aveeno body washes as its lightly fragranced, soap free, dye free and hypoallergenic, so works well for my sometimes extremely sensitive skin. I love how it gently foams up so well and yet doesn’t leave to dry after wash off.

11.Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula 250ml: This one needs no introduction.I simply buy this because I love the smell of cocoa butter and helps soothe real dry patches like elbows and knees.

Unboxing my Memebox Baby Soft Skin

Heya,

Surprising the lost batch of Memeboxes are arriving quickly..this one along with another landed on the 3rd day of being shipped…really!! And a handful lying at the customs..these Memebox posts are nearing an end as they are withdrawing International shipping.

Heres what i got :

 

 

1. Dr.MJ Real Mucin Restore Foam Cleanser: I have 555 cleansers before I open this one!! This one is a foam cleanser for removing impurities and make-up without stripping off the skin of moisture. Consisting of Snail Mucin extract I am sure its gonna be worth trying. I have tried the Sunscreen from Dr.MJ brand and liked it so this will be brought to use eventually.

2.Ettang Modeling Take-out Cup Pack in Propolis 17g : It is a rubber pack which hydrates,soothes and firms up the skin. I have been waiting for these in one of the boxes and this is my first modeling pack so i am excited to try this asap.

3.Dermakeys She’s 4th Aurora Skin Elixier 3D Perfectioner 50ml : This one is formulated with niacin amide and other hydration boosters that reduce the appearance of dark spots and increase skins hydration level and even appearance.Also fades dark spots and discoloration.

I tried this once and its truly a pearly elixir product, once spread gave a silky finish. I do have occasional breakouts leaving a mark or 2 here and there and i am excited to try how it works!! The product is full size and 104$$$!!!

4.Bavar Max Calming Cream 50g : This is a creamy moisturizer with hose hip oil and nutrient rich ingredients which deliver long-lasting glow and hydration.It claims to form a protective hydration coat leaving skin dewy soft and blowy. Also is free of Benzophenon,paragons,mineral oil,artificial colors,and TEA. This might just zip ahead of the creams in the waiting line of moisturizers!!

5.Neogen Exdigm Rough Foot and Knee Scrub 60ml: This is a dual action exfoliator with benefits of body shampoo (??) and body polish in one. I love foot scrubs and this one will be definitely used up!!

Luckily i have no repeat products..with all full size and good quality products going by the price. Every item will be used up and all products luckily have an expiry of 2017,so I am in no hurry to use it all up.

oh wow January is over too, there’s very little I was able to finish up in December which I wrote about pretty late.. due to traveling and the same goes with January as well..though there is some satisfaction in finishing up stuff and doing a monthly round up..means you can buy more 🙂

Heres what I used up

 

1.I belivyu Cube Sparkling Rose Sugar Scrub: Of what I remember this was a pretty much expensive item for 7cubes of stuff..I got 3 uses out of it using as a body scrub as I thought would be too harsh for the face. Left skin clean and glossy but can’t beat my Soap and Glory Flake Away. Would love to receive it again in a sub..repurchase nope!!

2.Sante Gel Douche Shower Gel in Coconut Dream : This one grew on me gradually..its absolutely like glycerin..clear and gel like, smelling of raw coconut oil. Surprisingly was very gentle and cleansed beautifully but to repurchase NOOO..dont love you so much!!

 

 

3.Too Cool For School Dinoplast CC :I received this in one of the Memeboxes and inspire of being way lighter than my skin tone..it still worked for me. I guess it has yellow under tones hence worked for me unlike other korean CCs which always have a pink undertone.. loved it but would rather indulge in a shade right CC.

4.Dr Hauschka Concealer in No.3 : I loved this concealer it was creamy and easy to blend..although dint cover my really dark dark circles ..it did an effective job for a natural every day look without looking like make-up.I hauled this from LoveLula , a Natural beauty shop with free worldwide shipping.

5.Nasarang Rose Balancing toner : I wish Memebox had sent some more of it …it was like a thickened rose-water smelling heavily of scented roses and almost felt like water of the face.The full size bottle contains 3 million roses supposedly !!! Plus for the thickness I had to tap the bottle facing down on my palm to literally use it up..needed more to judge 😦

 

 

6.Panda Eye essence Mask :This is the second one I used up out of the 3 I received..its cooling and refreshing and I will repurchase them again to see if they really work.

7.The History of Whoo Eye Cream : I use these regularly on my trips as they are thick in consistency and one sachet lasts you 4-5 times. Although thick they blend easily without leaving any sheen.

8.De Ganesh Eye Mask : My depleting staple..I love how they add moisture to my whole eye and wake me up..I hauled them while in China from Bonjour and I would love to buy them if I find these again ever!!

 

 

9.All Natural Organic mask sheet Blueberry: I could barely use one mask in January as opposed to a weekly treat. However these as compared to other was not so great.. not even close to my Dewy Tree Ginseng Mask but I love how they fit snugly.

10.It’s Skin Foot Moisture mask : I love any and every mask and foot masks are in staple in my skin care regime..although i was able to just finish up this one. I love how they moisturize and make your feet soft to go on without a foot cream for days. Purchase Always!!

 

 

11.Kocostar Ggongji Hair Pack : I was pretty much excited to try this..but the effect was not as magical, yes it did add moisture and made my hair soft but the ends also turned wavy. Hairpack repurchase yes!! this brand No!

12.Sanctuary Spa Detox Hair Exfoliant : This was like a watery shampoo scrub for the hair, to be used before regular shampoo and conditioning. I absolutely loved how my hair felt after using this, I could feel it being stripped off of all product buildup and made hair ready for shampoo and conditioning..Love Love Love it…waiting to repurchase.

13.SkinFood Creamy and Moist Body Lotion : I love carrying these on my trips, one sachet is just enough for one use. Settles quickly into moist skin and feels light and moist.

14.Eyptian Magic Multipurpose Cream : This is truly multipurpose, I used it up on a cold winter trip, and it worked for hands,cuticle,knees, slight hot water burn,frayed hair ends and it was amazingly brilliant. I would love to keep a bottle of it handy.

15.Tolymoly Dual Effect Sleeping Pack: These are one of the best sleeping masks I have tried. You wake up to a plump refreshed skin. I will buy a full size once I run through some sleeping packs in my stash!!

So this is it for January, most of the products is stuff I am already using hence there is barely any novelty  and barely any routine I stuck to which I intend following in February.

I received this along with my Christmas Collection #4 2014 K-Beauty Wrap-up No.2, the only 2 boxes i got myself in December.

Heres a quick run down of what I got.

 

1. PUREDERM Yogurt Wash-Off Pack 15ea :

I received this in Kiwi which is supposed to control excess level of dead skin cells and effective for maintaining a healthy, glowing complexion. To be massaged gently and washed of after 10-15 minutes..I would have loved to receive the strawberry one which supposedly works on excess sebum but these will be used up in the ever-increasing stash of packs.

2. ECHOICE Wash Oatmeal Body Scrub 110g :

“Enriched with world-renown superfood – oatmeal and walnut – the Wash Oatmeal Body Scrub is rich in vitamin, lysine, protein, fiber, calcium, tryptophan, and antioxidant components and thus works to gently exfoliate dead skin cells, deep cleanse, and nourish your body all at the same time!”

I use body scrubs twice a week..and this oatmeal sounds interesting..though nothing can beat my Soap and Glory Flake Away …I will use this up 🙂

3. DR.MJ Real Mucin Restore Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ 10g :

This is my first cushion BB!!” it’s packed with rich nutrients from snail filtrates and various moisturizing agents for adding more radiance and glow to the skin with multiple applications. Free of paraben, mineral oil, benzophenone, talc, and alcohol.”

I loved the packaging absolutely!!Although the shade is a little lighter for me, surprising it dint leave any white cast at all and is completely oil free and felt silky!!! so I will try to work it out.

4. AHC Real Aqua Velvet Sleeping Pack 80ml:

“A luxurious, one-step facial to rejuvenate, brighten, and balance out uneven skin tone and texture for velvety smooth complexion. Real Aqua Velvet Sleeping Pack is lightweight and non-sticky in formula, quickly absorbing into dry, exhausted skin to form a protective moisture barrier that locks in the moisture within skin overnight. It contains niacinamide, adenosine, ice plant extracts, snail secretion, and birch tree sap.”

I love using sleeping packs and almost end up using them 3-4 times a week. Although I love my Tonymoly intensive sleep pack, I would love to jump on to this for having niaciamide !!

5. MSTAR Malus Intensive Hair Treatment 30g

“Enriched with pure apple extracts, ceramide, panthenol, and 40 different kinds of naturally-derived ingredients, the Malus Intensive Hair Treatment delivers rich nutrition and moisture deep into dry, damaged hair, resulting in firmer, glossier hair ends and healthier scalp as well.”

Somehow Korean shampoos and conditioners have never worked well for me..but with dry unmanageable hair i love trying out treatments even if they temporarily make a difference!!

Another “ok” box for me..the boxes are simply getting boring off late!! What do you think?
